What happens
Going out in a group is the easiest way to dance in a new city: you arrive with friends, you leave with more.
A house favourite is La Topa Tolondra, the famous salsa bar near San Antonio where locals and travellers share a crowded dance floor. It's an independent venue — not run by the hostel — so its schedule and entry fee are its own.
Getting back: take a taxi or a ride-hailing app together. Reception can help you call one.
